When you have been to a natural place listed on NaturePins, open the app and tap the pin button on that place's page. You can pin places you have visited in the past and can pin direct from camera roll.

There are 12 categories: National Parks, Reserves, Beaches, Marine & Coastal, Lakes & Ponds, Rivers & Creeks, Waterfalls, Lookouts, Natural Landmarks, Heritage Sites, Hikes & Walks, and Campgrounds. Each has its own uniquely coloured pin.

Yes! The map shows all places relative to your location. You can also filter by category to find specific types of places nearby.

Trips let you plan your next adventure with smart route planning. Create a trip, and our intelligent stop finder will suggest natural places along your route. You can also invite friends to join for group trips.

Yes! You can create group trips and invite friends to join. Plan together, explore together, and collect pins along the way.

NaturePins has a social feed where you can follow other explorers, like and comment on their pins, and share your own adventures. You'll see a friends feed for people you follow and a community feed for broader discovery.

Achievement milestones are unlocked automatically as your pin count increases — visit more places to level up!

Challenges are curated collections of places built around a theme. Complete all the pins in a challenge to earn a special badge for your profile.
